Where to start?  From the beginning I guess! 

 

​Back when I was born medicine wasn't as advanced as it is today, so my parents had no idea they were going to have a daughter with a disability.  To say they were a little shocked is an understatement!  In later years my Mum told me that the doctor involved with my birth had actually suggested giving me up.  Thankfully, my Mum said a definite no, and both of my parents went on to nurture a strong, independent, woman!  Join me while I face the highs, lows; the frustrations and the exhortations of living in a broken body!
